Books Books Books

It's October and while the wind howls and the moon is full my taste range to ghost stories. I loved reading The Ghost and the Dead Deb by Alice Kimberly. I am now reading The Cat, The Quilt and the Corpse by Leann Sweeney. All perfect fall reading plus I am reading In The Best Of Families by Rex Stout nothing like a vintage mystery, a warm cozy throw, a cup of flavored coffee and a good book to quench my thirst for Halloween. Movies I have on the way from NetFlix is Arsenic and Old Lace, Remington Steele series and of course a British Mystery. I need plenty of stress breaks this time of year as the holidays close in and the family drama begins.
I have several authors who are friends of mine and I think God that they keep me reading all of these wonderful books which in turn saves my sanity.
I'm an author and lately for every step forward I take I end up three steps backwards. I think I need to be the way I used to be eat, sleep and drink the book until writing THE END. if I try to have balance other things take over and then the book is left on the back burner and I need to write.
There is nothing else I know how to do otherwise I might have became a florist, or a lawyer, maybe if I were well off enough I would own a bookstore or open a cross stitch shop. BTW Parsons needs both and so if you have the money and are willing to relocate here would be a good place to open either store.
Hugs,
Pamela

  1. Pam I think you have a much better handle on things than you think you do. You know exactly what to do to fight your stress which is more than I do and probably more than most. Enjoy your books and writing and movies and this spooky time of year.
